Packing (Panic!) Stations

If you know me, you'll know that I hate packing with a vengeance. It might possibly be the worst part of going on holiday. That is, unless you count dealing with a plane load of old people insisting on being the first on board & hitting you with their green shopping bags on the way through, young kids who make it their life's mission to send fellow passengers insane and those who don't know what deodorant is, let alone the numerous benefits that come from using it. Rant aside, I've just finished packing (and re-packing!) my suitcase.

BEFORE
And this is the edited mess - after mum had started helping!

AFTER

The milk crates were really helpful in keeping my suitcase out of the way

I still struggled with fitting everything in, and being ruthless about what I needed - at least its done now AND within my weight limit! Having exchanged Australian currency into Singapore dollars, packed and re-packed, procrastinated over whether or not to take some of my treasures for the days that homesickness gets all too much, I think I'm finally ready! Although I'll have the brown bag to breathe into on standby ... just in case ...
